🧠 How AI-generated images are detected… and how our app works:
Some platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram…) use AI image detection algorithms. These algorithms analyze several factors to determine whether an image was generated by artificial intelligence.
Why? Because some AI-generated ads can be problematic for platforms, so they are automatically given less trust. For example, it's now easy to show Trump endorsing your product--which can quickly become an issue.
🧠 Here are a few things these algorithms typically check:
Metadata: AI-generated images often include hidden information in the file (such as the software used, creation time, etc.).
Size and format: Some AI tools generate images with very specific formats (like 1024x1024 for GPT-generated images).
Subtle visual patterns: Textures, compositions, or artifacts that are often associated with AI tools.
Invisible watermarks: Embedded by companies like Google or OpenAI--undetectable to the eye, but recognizable by machines.

It removes all metadata, including tags left by AI generators.
